Mercedes-Benz is a German manufacturer of automobiles, buses, coaches, and trucks. Mercedes-Benz is a division of its parent company, Daimler AG. Mercedes-Benz traces its origins to Karl Benz's creation of the first petrol-powered car, the Benz Patent Motorwagen, patented in January of 1886[1] and Gottlieb Daimler and engineer Wilhelm Maybach's conversion of a stagecoach by the addition of a petrol engine later that year. The Mercedes automobile was first marketed in 1901 by Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft. The first Mercedes-Benz brand name vehicles were produced in 1926, following the merger of Karl Benz's and Gottlieb Daimler's companies into the Daimler-Benz company. Mercedes-Benz has introduced many technological and safety innovations that later became common in other vehicles.[2] Mercedes-Benz is one of the most well-known and established automotive brands in the world, and is also the world's oldest automotive brand still in existence today.

The German tuner has given the Silver Arrow's newest supercar the once over with a smattering of aesthetic additions both inside and out, as well as a few mechanical tweaks. Things get started with a carbon-fiber spoiler up front, as well as new fender vents made of the same light-weight material. A similar treatment crops up on the rear fascia, along with new titanium exhaust tips. Those tips are part of a full system that Brabus claims weighs a full 40 percent less than the stock pipes. Throw in a set of massive forged wheels (20 inches up front, 21 out back) and you've got the full package.Inside, Brabus will be happy to custom tailor the SLS AMG interior to each customer's taste. A new ergonomic steering wheel comes along with stainless scuff plates with an illuminated Brabus logo, though beyond that it's up to the buyer to decide on what type and color leather strikes their fancy. How much will all of this kit set you back? Brabus isn't saying, but you know what they say about if you have to ask.Brabus Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Brabus Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Brabus Mercedes Benz SLS AMG

2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS

2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLSThe second-generation Mercedes-Benz CLS will debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show at the end of September, but it's always a good time to read a little more about it - especially now that the Stuttgart-based automaker finally came out with official shots and some initial details.Instantly recognizable as a segment-creating CLS, the new model inherits its nose's blunt, coupe-derived styling from the SLS.The CLS is not only Mercedes' 5th Avenue flagship, it's the face of the so-called 4-door coupe market; therefore, it stands to reason that the newest 4-door coupe would be loaded with tech. I'm sure it will be, but other than the full-LED headlamp assembly, there wasn't much mention of anything but looks, materials, and something called PASSION leather in the press release (engine lineups have been accurately predicted by now, anyway).Inside, the information stack - much like the nose - also feels like it is derived from the SLS with its climate controls in the kink at the bottom. The interior can be had in five different colors, five different trims (3 wood, 2 synthetic), and three types of leather. The wood choices are high-gloss brown burr walnut, high-gloss black ash, and satin-finish light-brown poplar (by far the coolest if you need wood); if you're feeling a little more sporty, there's always piano lacquer or carbon fiber. The car's seats and dash are hand-sewn, and the dashboard leather has been pre-treated to handle a lot of direct sunlight (no special forms to worry about here like with BMW's Frozen Gray M3).A PASSION option nets buyers super-soft, hand-chosen 1.6 mm-thick leather. Mercedes says "the natural pore structure remains intact," but also that "the natural characteristics also remain visible for the most part, [so] the semi-aniline leather requires a very precise manual selection process."2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS

Mercedes Benz Cars Pictures and History

Since its inception, Mercedes-Benz had a reputation for quality and durability. Objective measures looking at passenger vehicles such as JD Power surveys showed a decline in the reputation of this approach in the 1990s and early 2000s. In mid-2005, Mercedes returned temporarily to the industry average for initial quality, a measure of problems after the first 90 days of ownership, according to JD Power. JD Power's Initial Quality Survey for the first quarter of 2007, Mercedes showed dramatic improvement in the escalating 25-5 th place, surpassing quality leader Toyota and earning several awards for its models.

2011 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG Wallpaper

Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG2011 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG WallpaperMercedes-Benz ML63 AMG2011 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG WallpaperMercedes-Benz ML63 AMGMercedes-Benz's 510-horsepower-strong ML63 AMG SUV has received some minor upgrades for the 2011 model year. The subtle changes to the exterior include a newly styled bonnet with power domes, darkened bi-xenon headlamps with active light function and smoked tail lamps incorporating a clear-lens design and LED technology. And that about covers the updates to the 2011 ML63 AMG model. There are no interior or mechanical changes with the ML63 AMG featuring the same 6.3-litre V8 engine with 500HP and 630Nm that propels the SUV accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.0 seconds, and on to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). Those interested can now place their order for the ML 63 AMG (at least in Europe) with first customer deliveries to take place in July 2010. In Germany, it carries a price tag of €105,077 or about US$125,500 at today's exchange rates.Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMGMercedes-Benz ML63 AMGMercedes-Benz ML63 AMG

Brabus T65 RS Wallpaper

Brabus Takes on Mercedes's SL65 AMG Black Series with New T65 RSThe Brabus T65 RS shares its underpinnings with the Mercedes AMG SL65 Black Series. Now this is what I call pushing the limits of tuning. Instead of the standard SL65 AMG Black Series' 670HP biturbo-V12, it gets the same modded 800-horsepower, 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) twin-turbo Brabus V12 under the hood. Between the engine and that new hood scoop are four intercoolers while the car also gets a new stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with free-flow metal catalysts. All the grunt coming from the power plants results in performance figures like hitting the 60mph mark in 3.6 seconds (versus the basic Black's 3.9 seconds) and 200km/h (124mph) in 9.8 seconds, while top speed is once again limited to 320km/h or 200mphInside, you'll notice the Black's seats (which Clarkson couldn't bear) have been replaced with luxurious, multifunction pieces. Good call by the owner on that one, especially if this is doing any sort of real driving duties. All that, and it still meets EURO IV emissions standards. Impressive nonetheless
